These terms cover the Lucky Landing Checkout and Ads uploader during the beta. How this website handles personal information is covered by our privacy notice.

About these terms

#

These terms apply when you use Lucky Landing’s Checkout or Ads uploader for your Shopify store.

Lucky Landing is provided by [Legal entity name to confirm], [ABN/ACN or registration number to confirm] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at admin@luckylanding.io.

By connecting an account or using either add-on, you agree to these terms. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

The beta

#

Lucky Landing is in beta. Access is by invitation.

Requesting early access doesn’t create an account, start a subscription or give you access to the service.

Features can change, pause or stop. Parts of the service may be unavailable at times.

Keep your own records of orders, payments and ads.

Accounts and services

#

To use Lucky Landing, you connect accounts you control: Shopify, Whop and, for the Ads uploader, Meta. You must be allowed to connect them.

Shopify, Whop and Meta each have their own terms. They still apply to those accounts, and you must follow them.

Lucky Landing is independent software. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Whop, Shopify or Meta.

Keep your sign-in details private. If you think someone else has access to your account, email admin@luckylanding.io.

Checkout and payments

#

The Checkout gives your Shopify store a branded checkout on a subdomain you own, such as checkout.yourstore.com.

Payments go through your own Whop account. Whop processes each payment and acts as merchant of record for card network rules and payment settlement only.

Your store is the supplier of the goods. You are responsible for your goods, prices, taxes, delivery, returns, refunds, disputes and customer support.

Whop’s own terms and fees govern your Whop account, payouts, disputes and payment refunds.

We don’t hold or move your money, we don’t process refunds outside Whop, and we don’t store card numbers.

Check your orders, prices and shipping settings before you send shoppers to your checkout.

Fees and billing

#

The Checkout is free during the beta. Whop’s processing fees still apply, and Whop charges them under its own terms. We won’t move the Checkout to a paid plan without your agreement.

The Ads uploader is US$25 a month, flat. It renews monthly until you cancel.

It is billed through [billing method to confirm]. You can cancel through [cancellation method to confirm], and cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

These are beta prices and can change. We’ll give you [notice period to confirm] notice before a price change, and you can cancel before it applies.

We’ll tell you how billing works before we charge you. Nothing moves from free to paid automatically.

The Ads uploader

#

The Ads uploader creates ads in your Meta ad account in batches, from presets you save.

New campaigns and ad sets it creates are always paused, and it never adds a live ad to a running ad set. Nothing starts delivering until you turn it on in Meta.

By default, it asks Meta to switch off the Advantage+ creative enhancements Meta lets apps control, including music, and multi-advertiser ads. You can switch some on in Settings, and some can only be changed in Ads Manager. Meta can change or rename these features and their defaults, and editing an ad can change its settings, so review each ad before you turn it on.

You are responsible for your ads, targeting, budgets and spend, and for following Meta’s terms and Advertising Standards.

Meta may reject, limit or remove ads. We don’t control Meta’s review or delivery.

No guaranteed results

#

We don’t promise more sales, higher conversion, lower costs, ad approval or better ad results.

Results depend on your products, prices, ads and audience, and on Whop, Shopify and Meta.

Example stores and products on this website are fictional.

Acceptable use

#

Use Lucky Landing only for lawful business.

Don’t sell illegal goods or services, or anything Whop, Shopify or Meta prohibit or restrict.

Don’t use hidden subscriptions, pre-ticked recurring charges, unclear renewals or other deceptive billing.

Don’t mask your billing descriptor or what you sell, and don’t show reviewers different content from what shoppers see.

Don’t use Lucky Landing in a way that breaks Shopify’s, Whop’s or Meta’s terms.

Don’t mislead shoppers about who you are, what you sell, your prices or delivery, in your ads or your checkout.

Don’t upload content you don’t have the rights to use, or infringe anyone else’s rights.

Don’t upload malware, scrape, reverse engineer or security-test the service without our written permission.

Don’t use accounts you aren’t authorised to use, try to access another merchant’s data, disrupt the service or get around its limits.

Don’t resell or share access without our written agreement.

Your content and data

#

You keep ownership of your store data, products, creatives and ad copy. You let us use them only to provide the features you use.

Our privacy notice covers this website only. [Service privacy and data processing terms to follow.]

Intellectual property

#

Lucky Landing’s software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms let you use the service; they don’t give you other rights in it.

If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Lucky Landing. You don’t have to send any.

Ending access

#

You can stop using Lucky Landing at any time. You can remove its access in your Shopify, Whop and Meta settings.

We may suspend or end your access only if you break these terms, if Whop, Shopify or Meta requires it, if the law requires it, or if we end the beta.

Where we can, we’ll tell you first.

[What happens to your data after access ends: to confirm.]

Disclaimers and liability

#

Lucky Landing is in beta and is provided as is. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where the law allows, our liability for a guarantee that can’t be excluded is limited to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost profits, lost sales, ad spend, chargebacks, or indirect or consequential loss, unless it was caused by our breach of these terms, our negligence or our fraud.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to [liability cap to confirm, e.g. fees paid in the previous 12 months].

Changes and governing law

#

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

If a change affects you in a material way, we’ll email you before it applies, and you can stop using Lucky Landing or cancel before then.

These terms are governed by [Governing law and courts to confirm].
